What it takes elsewhere

Desktop recorders are an app for one operating system. Recording extensions live in one browser's store. Clipo is a website.

What you can record

A browser tab

The cleanest choice for a demo: no notifications, no other windows.

A window

One app or one browser window.

Your whole screen

In Firefox and Safari.

Your voice and the tab's sound

Your microphone, and the tab's own sound when you turn it on.

Your camera

A small bubble of you in a corner, if you want one.

Then it edits itself

When you press Stop, Clipo uploads the recording and zooms in on every click. Captions, blur, a voice-over and exports up to 4K are in the same editor.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is there really nothing to install?

Yes. Clipo runs in your browser. There is no app to download and no extension to add.

Which browsers does it work in?

Current desktop versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave and Opera, on macOS, Windows, Linux and ChromeOS. Chrome, Edge and the other Chromium browsers can share a single tab; Firefox and Safari share a window or your whole screen. Phones and tablets can't share their screen from a browser, so recording needs a computer.

Can I record on a Chromebook?

Yes. Clipo works in Chrome on ChromeOS, and records a single tab or a window.

Where does my recording go?

It is uploaded securely and edited on our servers, and you can delete it and its exports at any time. The privacy policy has the details.

What does it cost?

One credit is one second of video, so a 30-second demo is 30 credits: about $1 (₹100 in India). Your first recording, up to 60 seconds, and your first product demo are free, export included, with no watermark. Credits are one-time and never expire, and there are no subscriptions.

Record it once. Clipo does the rest.

Free to start, nothing to install, and your first demo in the next five minutes.
